Wildlife Photography Workshop

Join accomplished photographer Luiz Carlos dos Santos Jr in an unparalleled wildlife photography workshop that will appeal to amateur photographers of all levels as you explore the wider side of photography at Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This private workshop offers many unique and exciting features:

An informative and engaging presentation that covers wildlife photography tips, recommended gear and an illustrative slideshow of photos taken at Kgalafadi Transforntier Park to prepare you to maximize your camera’s potential while shooting at the park.

An exclusive opportunity to photograph the animals in first light.

A dedicated all-terrain vehicle 4x4 to provide transportation throughout the park
Unobstructed view to photograph the famous black mane lions as well as all other species inside the Kgalagadi as cape fox, gemsbok, cheetah, springbok, blue wildebeest, hartebeest, birds, owls, black backed jackal and others.  

Class size limit to 4 participants, so you will have plenty of one-on-one time with Luiz throughout the workshop to ask questions and get coaching to your individual photographic needs.

Workshop participants are required to have a digital SLR camera or equivalent, and a telephoto lens with a focal range of approximately 55-200mm or longer. Other required equipment includes plenty of memory card capacity (we recommend 16-32GB), an extra camera battery and your camera manual. Electronic flash is optional but may be helpful in some lighting situations at the park. We also recommend you to bring your notebook with you for the evening chats and classes.
