Join accomplished photographer Luiz Carlos dos
Santos Jr in an unparalleled wildlife photography workshop that will appeal to
amateur photographers of all levels as you explore the wider side of
photography at Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. This private workshop offers many
unique and exciting features:
An informative and engaging presentation that
covers wildlife photography tips, recommended gear and an illustrative
slideshow of photos taken at Kgalafadi Transforntier Park to prepare you to
maximize your camera’s potential while shooting at the park.
An exclusive opportunity to photograph the animals
in first light.
A dedicated all-terrain vehicle 4x4 to provide
transportation throughout the park
Unobstructed view to photograph the famous
black mane lions as well as all other species inside the Kgalagadi as cape fox,
gemsbok, cheetah, springbok, blue wildebeest, hartebeest, birds, owls, black
backed jackal and others.
Class size limit to 4 participants, so you will
have plenty of one-on-one time with Luiz throughout the workshop to ask
questions and get coaching to your individual photographic needs.
Workshop participants are required to have a
digital SLR camera or equivalent, and a telephoto lens with a focal range of
approximately 55-200mm or longer. Other required equipment includes plenty of
memory card capacity (we recommend 16-32GB), an extra camera battery and your
camera manual. Electronic flash is optional but may be helpful in some lighting
situations at the park. We also recommend you to bring your notebook with you for
