Loongokuboma Village




Loongokuboma is a Maasai village inside the Ngorongoro conservation area in Tanzania. The village has a population of 150 people including 45 children. The kids between 4 and 7 years goes to the village school, and the ones between 8 and 14 goes to the primary school in another village located 10km away from Loongokuboma. Yes, if you are calculating the distance they walk per day, 5 days a week, your mathematics still good, they walk 20km per day, 100km per week. After the primary school with 14 to 15 years they start a very hard training before they become a real MAASAI WARRIOR.  Kimai-Laizer is the chief who takes care of the whole village. He is the son of the previous chief.
