Next Stop, S.Paulo ZOO!

Imagem
We are already working to organise the next trip with our kids. Next Stop will be S.Paulo Zoo for a day with the animals and an english class. We will need to organise food, transportation and t-shirts for them to be well dressed during the so expected event.

Come play with us!

They look so cute, and if you stay more than 5 minutes looking it, you feel like getting off the land rover and come to play with the big boys. That's what I wanted to do when saw these guys playing with each other. Not sure if I would be accepted as a new player.

Our first Class!

Imagem
We have started our classes today at Creche Sao Jorge and I was very proud to hear that my little kids were so interested to learn about the animals. It was definitely a good start and I am sure that they will surprise me during all year long.

Proud of our Team!

Today I was watching Nat Geo Wild  and for my surprise, they were reporting a trip inside Africa, specially Botswana, with emphasis in Central Kalahari and the Okavango Delta. Amazing that from the very beginning up to the end of the program, every single image and every single place they have reported were covered by our last expedition in Botswana last year. I was very happy to see that such an important channel were covering exactly what we have chosen for our footage and project. Very proud of our Team!

A year to start!

Imagem
After two months holidays from my little kids, it is now time to restart the classes, and I have to confess that I am already missing these guys. Another year, another classroom, another children, but only one reason to be there, it is the pleasure to exchange knowledge, as I believe that I even learn more than I really teach. This year I want to concentrate more on wildlife and also want to bring these guys out of the classroom to be more in contact with the nature. This is the wildlife project running full power ahead and with a lot of new opportunities and projects for 2013.

A lion cub!

20 days to go!

We have only 20 days to go and the Wildlife Project team will be back in Africa, our lovely and respected Africa.

Camels everywhere!

Imagem
It is almost impossible to come and visit the desert without seeing one of these guys, well, in my case, I saw quite a few, but this one was the most friendly one.

Lights, Camera, ACTION!

Almost ready for our next expedition, specially when we talk about equipment! Have all our toys completely ready and stored for the next 15 days between South Africa, Kenya and Tanzania!

The Desert

Imagem
An incredible view and amazing sights we have experienced during our 6 hours drive in a desert safari. It is quite an adventure being on board of a Nissan 4x4 in a high speed, jumping dunes and diving into the very finn sand, the desert sand.

Falcon

Imagem
Its was an amazing experience to meet this very famous and so beautiful creature, the Imperial Falcon. We learned that it is the fastest creature on earth, getting up to 380 km p/hour in a vertical drop when hunting, which gives no chance at all for the prey.
